Microbe Fire

IMG_3033(1)

Microbe Fire is food for microbes.  It is a substance called pyroligneous acid, or wood vinegar, and it is a by-product of wood burning (i.e. biochar production). Nature creates these compounds when wood burns, and bacteria have evolved to use these compounds as food. These bacteria are then food for plants and other micro-organisms that release plant available nutrients when they die. In our endless endeavor to harness natural selection to benefit our agriculture, we have chosen the highest quality materials and made a truly potent and effective blend! Apply to compost tea to increase microbiological populations and fuel your microbe fire!
